First Baptist Church provides a Christian atmosphere for children ages 3 and 4 where they are given the opportunity to become aware of God so that they can respond to Him in faith and love through our First Place Academy preschool. The teaching they receive will enable them to grow as children of God rooted in the Christian faith as they prepare for public school. Spiritual concepts are woven throughout the day's instruction in Bible Stories, songs and scripture. It is believed that children learn through watching, hearing and modeling; therefore, every staff member and teacher is aware of the role they play in the Christian development of their young students.
